Primo Driving School takes pride in its mission: saving lives by helping new drivers become safe drivers. Every student is assessed throughout the 6-hour behind-the-wheel course.
Primo Driving School is extremely proud of its Driver Training Programs. We have programs designed for 16-year-old students to obtain the NJ learners permit, as well as adults needing a full training package or individual lessons. Our programs focus on both cognitive and skills-based learning while providing the state-required minimum 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training.
When it's time to take the NJ Road Test, Primo Driving School is ready to help. We offer several packages — from car rental to a premium door-to-door service — to get the student to the test, wait for the license to be printed, and return home or to school. Add a quick refresher to ensure they're road-ready.
Primo Driving School proudly offers an Online Defensive Driving Course. Receive insurance discounts and remove up to 2 points from your NJ driver's license. You can retake it every 3 years for insurance discounts and every 5 years for point removal.
Skip the trip to the Motor Vehicles office. We offer both the written knowledge test (NJ Permit Test) and the vision test right in our Cedar Grove office — so you spend more time driving and less time waiting in line.
Six hours is the NJ state minimum for new drivers — and it's simply not enough for everyone. Every student learns differently. Add lessons by the hour, or save by purchasing a multi-hour package.
